Social Media Intern

Premiership Talk is hiring a college student for an unpaid internship. The Media Intern will work in conjunction with our Media Director to coordinate Premiership Talk’s online media activity including, but not limited to, social media, public relations, and media responses and relations.

The Media Intern will also work with Premiership Talk’s Managing Director to increase revenue by finding new advertisers and managing relations with existing advertisers. This part of the responsibilities will give the intern hands on experience dealing with other businesses and will also offer the chance to earn commission.

Additionally, the Media Intern will coordinate all social media activities including Facebook, Twitter, and other emerging technologies (including forums).

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. However, if your university accepts credits for unpaid internships, we are more than willing to explore that avenue. There is an opportunity to earn commission through attracting new advertisers.

Commitment: The intern must be ready to commit ten hours per week to this internship.

Requirements: The intern must have excellent written and verbal skills, and a knowledge of football (soccer) is strongly preferred. This internship is open to current freshmen and sophomores in university (graduating 2013 or 2014).
