The Premiership Talk Team

Brian Lofrumento | Managing Director | Brian founded Premiership Talk in June of 2008 and has served as the Managing Director ever since. As a Manchester United supporter, Premiership Talk was born out of Brian’s frustration with Cristiano Ronaldo’s rumored move away from Old Trafford, sparking him to write a late night tirade questioning the Portuguese international’s loyalty. This tirade became the first ever Premiership Talk post – the first of many thousands of articles.

During his time with Premiership Talk, Lofrumento has covered endless amounts of Premier League and MLS matches and interviewed some of the biggest names in the world of football. Brian was the first reporter on the internet with the leaked England kit in 2009, broke the news of Andy Johnson’s transfer to Fulham in 2008, and has been at the cutting edge of Premiership news ever since.

Brian’s work has been published in a host of publications, including, but not limited to, Football Corner, Soccerlens, Football.com, Soccer Long Island Magazine, and more.

Zain Alvi Director of Content Development | Zain has been with Premiership Talk since January 2009 and has remained one of the focal points of the company’s presence. With nearly 2,000 articles published on the site, Zain has been in charge of the company’s content direction and development, and has created the editorial culture that millions of readers around the world have come to enjoy.

Zain was convinced to jump on the Premiership Talk team for his sometimes controversial and always passionate views on football. He met Brian from across a crowded street as the two began bantering over Zain’s Arsenal scarf, at which point he was encouraged to bring his passion to the internet and a worldwide audience of millions. Since then, Alvi has interviewed football luminaries such as Sir Alex Ferguson, and has traveled around England to many of the Premier League’s most storied football grounds.

In his role as Director of Content Development, Zain has produced endless amounts of pieces for readers to enjoy, and has led a team of writers through three years and counting of Premier League and world football news.
