According to The Mirror, Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj is wanted by Championship side Blackburn. The report suggests that Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer wants to secure the young Belgian midfielder on a loan deal following the close of the transfer deadline following an impressive preseason campaign from the 18 year old.

Januzaj has seen his stock rise considerably at Old Trafford this summer following a series of impressive displays after being named to the United bench in Sir Alex Ferguson’s last match as manager. The creative player began his career in Belgium with Anderlecht, and is currently in an international tug-of-war between Belgium and Albania. The Belgian national team is currently blooding its golden generation, with stars such as Eden Hazard, Axel Witsel, Marouane Fellaini, and Romelu Lukaku just a few years older than United’s starlet.

David Moyes promoted Januzaj to United’s first team this summer, and may want to keep the player at Old Trafford to train with the club’s first team superstars. Januzaj is no longer the only Belgian in the first team following the signing of Marouane Fellaini in a £27.5 million deal on Monday.

The Red Devils’ Premier League campaign continues on the 14th of September when they play host to newly promoted Crystal Palace.
