According to The Independent,¬†Jose Mourinho’s son Jose Mario has signed a contract with London club Fulham. The 14 year old signed a one year deal with the Cottagers, the longest deal a player of his age can sign with a club. The youngster spent one month on trial with the club before signing the deal on Wednesday.

Jose Mario played in the Real Madrid youth system when Mourinho Sr. was at the helm of Los Blancos. With Mourinho returning to manage Chelsea this summer, the Portuguese boss has apparently found a new place close to home for his son to play his football.

Mourinho spent three years at Real Madrid before leaving due to differences with ownership and a slipping of control in the locker room. Managing at Real Madrid is typically no easy task but Mourinho was able to survive for three years at the club and thrive in his middle year, winning La Liga in an era where Barcelona boasts what some would argue is one of the greatest Spanish squads of all time.
