West Bromwich Albion have finalized a loan move for Manchester City wantaway forward Scott Sinclair today. According to the Manchester Evening News, West Brom will pay roughly £2 million for the season long loan with a reported clause in the contract giving West Brom the option to make the move permanent for Sinclair next summer.

Sinclair passed a medical and finalized the deal today and could feature against Everton in the club’s Premier League tie this weekend.

Sinclair did not receive a great deal of playing time with the Citizens last season and was looking to move in order to find more first team football. The 24 year old has been unable to find reliable football since leaving Swansea City in 2012 for Manchester City. Sinclair played well for Swansea but did not make a serious impact during Roberto Mancini’s reign at Manchester City.

The promising Sinclair will have another opportunity to show what he is capable of with West Brom. The Englishman will play against the club that he helped promote from the Championship next week in his first home match at the Hawthorns when the Baggies take on Swansea City on September 1st.
