Player agent George Atangana confirmed to reporters that midfielder Saphir Taider is unhappy with his arrangement with current employers Bologna. He then also disclosed that multiple clubs have made contact with him over his player’s services including the likes of Manchester United. The Daily Mail went on to report that his representative then warned the Italian side that it would be difficult to retain their key player’s services unless the club decided to treat his client with the respect he deserves: more money.

“He deserves more money and I would not be doing my job properly if I did not ask Bologna to improve his agreement and if a club like Manchester United is interested then you have to give him what he deserves if you want him to stay,” the agent declared, reported The Daily Mail.

“At the moment, Saphir is not happy.”

Earlier this month a price tag of €18 million was reportedly placed on the the Algerian national in light of a plethora of interest from other clubs. This move clearly frazzled the player and his agent with Taider only currently believed to be on a contract in the region of £260,000 a year according to The Daily Mail.

The Algerian international became an important first team player for the Serie A side last season, after moving from Grenoble on a free transfer in 2011. The central midfielder made 34 league appearances in the 2012-13 term for the Rossoblù’s, finding the net three times while setting up his teammates another two times.
