Revs send captain to Chivas USA

Veteran Joseph exits New England

By | 1st August 2012

Reports on Wednesday morning are suggesting that the New England Revolution have shipped club captain and Gillette-mainstay Shalrie Joseph to Chivas USA.

The 34-year-old midfielder was in his tenth season with the club, scoring 36 goals for the Revs while being named to the Best XI four times.

Jospeh’s agent, Ron Waxman announced the trade via Twitter this morning, which set off a media frenzy with reactions from fans, current/former teammates, and analysts trying to confirm the deal.

Last year, the Revs endured one of their worst seasons in club history, finishing in the bottom of the standings. This season has shown potential, but they have continued to let leads slip away late in games and have failed to show any consistency on the road.

In return for sending out Joseph, the Revs will reportedly receive midfielder Blair Gavin, a draft pick and allocation money.

It is just 26 questions so its very quick.

The questions try to get a global view of why people support the teams they do and how committed they are to their favorite team.
