By | 27th July 2012

Fans of Spanish champions Real Madrid are in for an entertaining mobile experience as a new iPad/iPhone game has been released based on three of the club’s football heroes: former midfielder Zinedine Zidane as well as current duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Mesut Ozil.

MEDL Mobile and Digital Artists Entertainment have joined hands with the La Liga giants to create “Journey to Real Madrid” – a fascinating game that will allow Apple users to progress from childhood versions of the aforementioned trio to their full-blown professional form at the storied Santiago Bernabeu ground.

The journey, which involves thirteen immersive levels, is made more interactive through the inclusion of social media features such as Facebook and Twitter posts.

In order to cater to English and Spanish supporters alike, the game is designed in both the languages and is already available for purchase at the Apple App Store.

Upon the game’s launch, representatives from both MEDL Mobile and Digial Artists Entertainment endorsed it as an experience that will appeal to a wide array of football supporters around the world.

“This game has been a labor of love for the development team who are all huge fans of Real Madrid. Now, fans of this legendary franchise can travel on the Journey of their favorite stars,” remarked Dave Swartz, the CCO and Co-Founder of MEDL Mobile.

In the same press release, Digital Arts Entertainment CEO Scott Rupp explained: “We think fans of all ages will love taking their favorite soccer superstars on the Journey To Real Madrid. With its huge range of shots, crisp graphics, and game altering super
moves, Journey To Real Madrid truly has something for everyone.”
