A host of major sporting personalities came together for the press launch of Japanese sports brand Mizuno’s new Performance Center in Central London.

The Performance Center, which showcases the company’s new Seiei product line, has opened at London’s iconic Center Point building and will welcome visitors between July 24th and August 12th.

Those in attendance during the press launch included Sky Sports news presenter Charlotte Jackson, brand president Akito Mizuno, and former Manchester United great Dwight Yorke.

“I’m thrilled to be opening the Mizuno Performance Center ahead of what will be a brilliant summer of sport. We believe the iconic status of the building is a perfect reflection of the Mizuno brand,” Akito stated with excitement.

The president added: “Our customers have a wonderful opportunity to try out the latest Seiei Collection products, interact with our sports stars and explore more about our Japanese heritage in what will be a truly exciting day out for all the family.”

Seiei is the Japanese word for elite and indeed, with the likes of World Number One Golfer Luke Donald and Olympic Gold Medalist Sally Gunnell on hand, the press launch was completed in the company of some very worthy athletes.

From a football standpoint, it was confirmed earlier this summer that Chelsea target Hulk will be the official ambassador of the company’s Morelia Neo footwear.

I am a graduate student at George Washington University and an avid soccer fan-I have combined the two interests to compile a soccer survey!

It is just 26 questions so its very quick.

The questions try to get a global view of why people support the teams they do and how committed they are to their favorite team.
