Despite yesterday’s friendly match between Armenia and Kazakstan being largely ignored by the international media, Armenian player Gevorg Ghazaryan is attracting acclaim around the internet for scoring one of the day’s finest goals.

The Metalurh Donetsk attacker scored his nation’s second goal in yesterday’s 3-0 win, and has made Twitter and social media sites explode with videos of his goal. While Premier League fans have seen similar goals down the years, Ghazaryan’s goal comes at a time when fans are getting excited for the upcoming Euro 2012 tournament.
