Stoke v Chelsea Preview

2 April 2011 | Britannia Stadium | 15:00 GMT

By | 1st April 2011

Here at Premiership Talk we’ve teamed up with Scoreboard to bring you some great match previews. Scoreboard is an interactive game on Facebook that allows people to predict the outcome of each Premier League match while also being able to watch a match preview where pundits and fans from around the world also give their input and predictions. Each week we will post previews to select Premier League matches so you can watch Scoreboard’s match preview and then head over to their Facebook page to interact with other fans and predict all of the match outcomes.

It’s safe to say that the defending Premier League champs are not exactly in the place on the table where they would like to be. Chelsea needs Manchester United and Arsenal to really fold down the stretch if there is any chance for them to comeback and win the title. By their own standards, the Blues have underachieved this season.

Stoke, on the other hand, is performing right around where they expected to be. They are a respectable mid-table club that can realistically steal at least a point from any club they play. Given the widespread parity throughout the league this season, Stoke can finish as high as 7th if they finish the season strong. Stoke aren’t expected to win on Saturday, but a point at the Britannia is a strong possibility.
