Former Juventus superstar Edgar Davids is reportedly weighing up a move to Championship side Crystal Palace. The Dutch legend has been out of football since 2008, but has failed to officially retire, leading Crystal Palace to sensationally approach him with the enticing prospect of moving back to England.

The Daily Mail is running the exclusive story saying that Davids is leaning towards the move as he is not concerned with money, and instead is simply looking for a change of lifestyle. The tenacious midfielder spent two years in the English capital already during his time at Tottenham, and after an illustrious career he’s looking to get on the pitch again in a city that he can enjoy.

The Daily Mail report stated: “Sportsmail understands the former Juventus superstar has held talks with Eagles boss George Burley with a view to signing a short-term deal at Selhurst Park.

“The Dutchman is still mulling over the offer and is expected to give the south London club a decision in the next few days. ”
