United States midfielder Michael Bradley appears to be on the verge of joining Premier League new boys Blackpool FC. The Tangerines, who will open their campaign away to Wigan, will be looking forward to completing the transfer for a low fee. In case the Bundesliga outfit provide a higher-than-expected valuation for the unsettled player, Daily Mail reports that Blackpool will seek to bring Bradley to Bloomfield Road on loan.
Despite shining at the international stage under the coaching of his father Bob Bradley, junior Bradley has not fully lived up to his potential in club football, largely due to his temperamental nature. After impressing in the Dutch Eredevisie early in his career, he could not replicate that positive impact at Borussia Monchengladbach. A fall-out with manager Michael Frontzech only worsened his development prospects in Germany and at Blackpool, he can finally fulfill a long-awaited desire to play in the Premier League.
In 2008, he had verbally agreed to join Birmingham City, only to retreat from the move following the relegation of the Midlands outfit. It has been exactly two years since that moment and some believe that Bradley hasn’t made significant progress as a player in the last two years. Therefore, perhaps the last opportunity to take his game to the next level now rests on the shoulders of Ian Holloway as he aims to engineer a move that is also likely to benefit The Seasiders throughout a challenging first season back in the English top flight.

Blackpool would be the perfect stepping stone for Michael. They play superb attacking football and he'd be super alongside Charlie Adam. If he does well then he can get a move to one of the bigger Prem teams.
Whoever wrote this seems clueless to any real info regarding Bradley and his progress.
yh, michael bradley, one of the stars of the world cup, will join blackpool, a poor side who have a tiny stadium and only got promoted because theyve got a cool manager, dont think so zain, if it happens ill take all of that back
'Only Promoted because they have a cool manager'? I thought the 11 players in tangerine playing outstanding football might have had a role in it as well. Have you ever watched them play before you came to your conclusions?
The writer of this article has no idea what he's talking about when he discusses Bradley's time with Gladbach. He has developed by leaps and bounds and has forced his way into the starting lineup even after his earlier problems with the manager. His "development prospects" in Germany are as high as ever. The only reason why his goal count has gone down is because in Holland he was used as an attacking midfielder, whereas now he's more of a holding player.
Unless someone like Bayern Munich offer, Bradley should move to England. Hopefully he will get a better offer than from Blackpool, it has been rumored before that Wenger was interested.
Writers keep parroting this "fall-out" with his manager. He started 26 out of the last 28 matches! One was missed because of a broken nose, and I believe the other as a result of card accumulation.
