Premiership Talk is thrilled, honored, and delighted to announce that we have been named The Fans of The FA Cup’s Favourite Blog. Voting closed today on the FA Cup’s Facebook page and Premiership Talk won the contest with an astounding 40% of the vote, beating out quality sites such as Soccerlens. We cannot thank our fans and supporters enough for their continued support – none of this would have been possible without all of you!
This award is Premiership Talk’s second major award in less than two years of existence, following up on our editor’s choice award for Best New Blog of 2008 in the Soccerlens Awards. Since then we have added the Premiership Talk Podcast, which has spanned the globe and has over 7,000 listeners, and the Premiership Talk Predictions Game, which gives fans the chance to pit their footballing wits against supporters from all over with a chance of winning cash each and every week. Premiership Talk also has a global reader base from over 200 countries!
As always, we are working hard behind the scenes to continue to bring fans the latest news and opinions from a fans’ perspective, and we look forward to serving you for years to come! Awards such as this one spur us on to go above and beyond for the fans, and we couldn’t be happier to do so!
So, thank you all once again for your continued support, and stay tuned to Premiership Talk for all of the latest Premiership news and opinions!

Hahaha just saw this.
Yeah, I have a question that perhaps someone who’s English can answer: why was Peter Crouch overlooked for England captain? I’m shocked I haven’t heard this question raised in any media outlets, and I thought it was worth posing for those of us in the US who don’t understand.
why?
because crouch has never captained a side before and ferdinand has.
ANSWERED BY AN ENGLISHMAN.
