World Cup fever is finally here! The new World Cup ball was officially unveiled on Premiership Talk earlier today, and Prem Talk readers will now have the chance to watch Sepp Blatter and David Beckham unveil the ball live from South Africa. The official unveiling in Johannesburg is at 2:45pm GMT, 9:45am EST and will be aired right here on Premiership Talk (video is below).

The new ball, titled Jabulani, is produced by adidas and features new “Grip’n'Groove” technology to ensure proper flight and perfect grip under all conditions. The Jabulani ball is said to be the roundest ball ever, and with its eight thermally bonded panels it should provide a perfect product to the world’s biggest sporting tournament.

Following the live World Cup ball unveiling comes the much anticipated World Cup 2010 group stage draw. Fans in the United States can catch the draw live at 12pm (noon) on ESPN2, while the draw will be live in the United Kingdom at 5pm GMT.
