Tottenham’s Roman Pavlyuchenko’s agent has sparked reports that his client is unhappy with life at White Hart Lane. The Russian striker has seen limited playing time this season, appearing in just three Premier League fixtures this season. His agent revealed this Pavlyuchenko’s unhappiness is the result of “psychological problems.”

Pavlyuchenko’s agent, Oleg Artemov, told The Sun: ”His poor performance recently is not due to a lack of match practice but psychological problems. Of course, not getting into the starting line-up, sitting on the bench is not good for any player.

”But Roman is much more affected by the feeling that the manager doesn’t trust him and prefers to use other forwards.”

With the red hot Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane, and Peter Crouch ahead of him in the pecking order, Pavlyuchenko could be looking for a move away from the club in January.

”The World Cup is next summer, to waste another half a year on the bench may be very bad for his international career,” said his agent.

Pavlyuchenko has voiced his desire of moving to Manchester United in the past, and with Sir Alex Ferguson keen to add another striker to his ranks, anything could happen. If not United, there should be no lack of suitors for the talented Russian.
