Rumors are running rampant that Phil Brown has sensationally left his post as manager of Hull City. The Tigers have refused to comment on the speculation, but bookmakers such as William Hill have halted all betting speculating on Brown’s future as the perma-tanned manager cannot be reached for comment.

Brown’s Hull City side have only picked up three wins in their past 32 Premier League games, and following their 0-0 draw with Portsmouth at the weekend many fans were calling for Brown’s head.

Dean Windass, the aged striker who made history with his goal that propelled Hull into the top flight, agrees that now is the time for Phil Brown to leave.

“I think sometimes you need a fresh change,” Windass told talkSPORT Magazine. “Phil’s done a fantastic job since he’s been there but I think it’s time that he should get moved on and bring somebody else in.”

Update as of 6:30pm GMT: A bit of a betting fury going on here, but Hull City has released a statement saying that Phil Brown has indeed not left the club. Stay tuned to Premiership Talk for all of the latest updates.
