Portuguese Contingent Leaving Stamford Bridge  | read this item

deco-v-boltonThe transfer rumor mill keeps on churning, and Chelsea fans will get their own taste of some Portuguese players leaving. Cristiano Ronaldo’s impending exit from England is finally happening, and it looks like his two national team teammates from Chelsea could also be leaving English shores. Deco and defender Bosingwa are both subjects of intense speculation, as both players are said to be unhappy with life at Stamford Bridge.

Bosingwa’s rumored suitors are Bayern Munich, with general manager Uli Hoeness confirming that the German club are interested in acquiring the defender’s services. ”Our transfer activities are basically closed,” he told Munich’s tz newspaper. “We are only looking at whether there are possibilities for the right-back position.”

He added: “We are interested in Bosingwa. That’s correct.”

Deco, meanwhile, has not wasted his time in waiting for a list of suitors, simply stating that his future does not include Chelsea.

“I have a contract with Chelsea, but I know there are offers from other clubs,” he told the media. “I want to feel happy and this is not the case at Chelsea.

“I want to find a club where I can again take joy from playing. I did not like the experience at Chelsea.”

Jose Mourinho could be interested in re-signing Deco, and the midfielder has hinted that he’d welcome a move to Inter Milan. For now, though, Chelsea fans will just have to wait.

You can add Ricardo Carvalho to the list. He recently stated that he wants to leave Chelsea and go to Inter. Today Mourinho said that he hopes to sign Carvalho this summer and hopes a deal can be reached with Chelsea.
