Real Madrid have tonight officially clinched the signing of former AC Milan midfielder Kaka. The Brazilian playmaker will reveal his move in a press conference tomorrow following today’s medical in his native country. AC Milan have wasted no such time, though, confirming the world record breaking transfer on their official site.
“From next season, Kaka will play at Real Madrid. AC Milan thanked the man and the great champion Kaka for his decisive contribution to the many victories achieved in the six years of his commitment.
“The loss of technique, while serious, can be remedied. It will be very difficult to fill the void that will be left by Kak, a shining example of professionalism and commitment
“AC Milan, (according to) the wishes of the managers, players and supporters of the Rossoneri, offer him the most cordial and affectionate wishes for the continuation of his sporting career.”
The 27 year old becomes the first signing of what is believed to be the second coming of a new Galacticos era under Florentino Perez, with further big names expected to arrive at Santiago Bernabeu before the season kicks off.
Is Kaka worth the money? Have your say in the comments section below!
I hate the fact that Kaka thinks he’s doing AC Milan a favor by leaving and getting them this money…
Milan has a good team set up, and if they brought in a player or two this offseason, I think they could have made a good run in the Champions League…
Now with Kaka gone, an offseason that doesn’t see players the likes of Adedbayor, Ribery, Tevez, or Eto’o brought in will be a failure.
Milan is worse off with Kaka gone.
