Liverpool Looking to Sell Voronin to Finance Barry Deal
Liverpool are continuing their pursuit of Aston Villa's Gareth Barry as they look for more funds. Andriy Voronin is the supposed victim as the club are attempting to offload him to an unnamed German club for around £3 million.
Joining Voronin on the plane out of Liverpool is goalkeeper Scott Carson, who is keen on a move to either Blackburn or West Bromwich Albion. West Brom are late-comers in the race for the English goalkeeper, but Blackburn's lack of action is giving the newly promoted side a chance in the race for his signature.
With Voronin probably leaving the club, does this mean that Rafa Benitez is confident of signing a new striker (such as Robbie Keane)?
