Djibril Cisse Wants Premier League Return
Former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has told his club Marseille that he wants to return to England. Cisse's teammate Modeste M'Bami has also made the same request. The French striker has recently been linked with Portsmouth, West Ham, Bolton, and Wigan, but more clubs could join the race. Teammate M'Bami has been linked to Everton and Manchester City.
Although there is nothing linking them, what if a club like Manchester United took a chance on the French international? Cisse has long been known as a goalscorer, and - when healthy - has delivered. He has pace to burn and with almost 40 caps has the experience necessary. At age 26 he has many years ahead of him. Sir Alex Ferguson is in the market for a third striker (fourth if you count the injured Louis Saha) and Cisse would fit the bill perfectly. Not a constant starter, Djibril would bring an extra element off the bench. He would be the perfect complement for the small Wayne Rooney or Carlos Tevez.
